To have an ideal body weight and proportional body shape is a very easy matter. There are several simple ways that can be done in everyday life to get the ideal body weight.
1. Exercise
Do light exercise such as jogging, cycling or swimming. Exercise can help burn calories in our body and keep our body fresh and healthy.
2. Ideal Sleep Time
An article in a journal from the National Sleep Foundation recommends young adults (18–25 years) and adults (26–64 years) to sleep 7-9 hours per day, or at least not less than 6 hours per day. Whereas for people over 64 years, the recommended sleep time is 7-8 hours per day.
Lack of sleep can make us continue to feel hungry. This can happen because lack of sleep can trigger the production of cortisol, a hormone that participates in regulating appetite. Not only that, lack of sleep can also cause fat buildup in the body.
3. eat less fast food
When you want an ideal weight, be sure to avoid and leave fast food. Fast food is known to contain lots of calories and fat which can make your body weight continue to grow. Replace fast food with vegetables and fruit or self-cooked food at home.
4. Limit the portion of food
Limit your meal portion. Stop eating before you feel full. Also avoid the habit of snacking because this will only make your weight gain easily. Expand to eat vegetables, fruits and meat that are rich in protein but low in fat.
