How to Lose Weight Naturally, Healthy Diet

The majority of us who want to start a diet are mostly lazy to start. There will be many reasons such as being busy, not having time to exercise, and thousands of other reasons.

Long-term lifestyle change requires the right reasons, the right mindset, the right motivation. Losing weight is not just about looking more ideal and looking sexier, it's about health. When we have an ideal body, our bodies will be healthier.



Likewise with me, a few years ago I could be said to be one of the obese sufferers. my weight is far from ideal, very far. My concern is not about "oh no, I look fat", but about how quickly I tire, sweat easily, and the many other reasons why I finally decide to lose weight.

1. Keeping Healthy Food

start replacing snacks in your home and office with healthy foods. If you usually keep sweets, snacks, and snacks that contain lots of sugar, then replace them with healthy foods such as fruit.

2. Do Exercise/ Sport

Basically, exercise is a necessity for every human being in life, so that their physical condition and health are maintained properly. Exercise can improve health and prevent the onset of diseases including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, forms of cancer, obesity, and injuries. Participation in sports is also known to reduce depression, stress and anxiety, increase self-confidence, energy levels, sleep quality, and the ability to concentrate.

In addition, the benefits of exercise can reduce weight because calories are wasted when doing sports movements. For example, 1-2 types of exercise and how many calories you burn. For example: running at a speed ... km / hour can burn calories by ... kcal. Exercise recommendation to lose weight at least 150 minutes / week, can be divided by 3 - 5 times / week depending on the availability of each time.

3. Slow Carb-diet

  • Skip “white” carbohydrates: bread, rice, cereal, potatoes, pasta, and grains. Avoid eating anything white and you’re safe 
  • Eat the same few meals over and over again: mix and match but use only a few items (more below) 
  • Don’t drink calories: a glass or two of dry red wine per night is fine 
  • No fruit: avocado and tomatoes are exceptions (in moderation) but stay away from everything else 
  • Take one day/three meals off per week: I prefer three meals per week as it allows more flexibility

4. Fasting in cycles 

Fasting for short cycles may help a person lose weight. intermittent fasting or alternate day fasting can help a person lose weight and maintain their weight loss. However, not everyone should fast. Fasting can be dangerous for children, developing teenagers, pregnant women, older people, and people with underlying health conditions.

It is vital for people to focus on making changes that they can maintain. In some cases, a person may prefer to implement changes gradually or try introducing one at a time.

Anyone who finds it challenging to lose weight may benefit from speaking to a doctor or dietitian to find a plan that works for them.
